His Holiness Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji released a book titled 'Durga Devi Prabhav', compiled by Sri Gopalakrishna Rao, a devotee of Srimatam. The book is a compilation of Prayers on Durga Devi by reverred sages like Sri Markandya Rishi (Devi Mahatmyam), Sri Vyaasa (from Virata Parva) , Sri Adi Sankara Bhagatpada, Pujyasri Mahaswamiji, Sri Appaiya Dikshathar and contains pictures and slokas on 51 Mathrukakshara Mahima Rupinee.

The programme, held on 23rd September, commenced at 3.30 pm. The first copy of the book was received by Honourable Justice (Retd.) Sri N. V. Balasubramanian from the Divine Hands of His Holiness Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Swamiji, in the presence of His Holiness Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji. His Holiness blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanam.
